THE DRIVE: First 8 Episode Cast Break Down Story Breakdown: (Should always accompany casting notices) THE DRIVE is a crime drama based in Philadelphia. It is a TV/WEB series to begin production February, 2014. Preproduction including table reads, photo shots, and rehearsals have already begun. STORY: This gritty crime drama is based on the lives and relationships of two men, DOG and CLYDE. It is a love story, but not the love between a man and a woman, or the love for a child. It is the unspoken love of brotherhood. THE DRIVE details the lives of men who are willing to do unspeakable things for each other. DOG and CLYDE have worked together for 5 years under Dominic Fats Barrone and have become the best of friends...willing to live and die for each other. But there is a catch.....they cannot know anything personal about each other. The two men are hit men in an organized crime syndicate working side by side to handle all of FATS dirty work. LEAD ROLES: JASMINE: Any Ethnicity. Age 25-35 Very pretty, girl next door with an attitude. She is Clydes secret girlfriend. She is also the owner of the Gentlemens Club Clyde and Dog frequent. (Note: Not a strip club, think burlesque). Jasmine is a no nonsense business woman and is deeply in love with Clyde. - Must be comfortable with love scenes on camera (no nudity) - Must be comfortable wearing lingerie (no nudity) SHARRON : Cuacasian, Age: 30-40. Sharon is Clydes wife. She is a house wife who does not ask many questions about Clydes coming and goings. She doesnt even know that he goes by the name Clyde. She is a quiet, loving mother and wife. - Must be comfortable with love scenes on camera (no nudity) KEVIN: Any Ethnicity Age: 25-30 Large Build. He is the bouncer at Joe “the Greek” Jackson’s bar. He is a self proclaimed tough-guy who when confronted shows his true cowardly nature. Officer Jason Boyd: African-American Age: 22-30. Rookie Officer He is a corrupt cop looking to gain financial power by any means. Officer Derek Mason: Caucasian Age: 22-30. Rookie Officer Jason Boyd’s Partner Though reluctant at first he followed Jason Boyd’s lead of corruption. Star: Any Ethnicity Age: 25-35 She is one of the employees at Jasmine’s club.
