We the Igud Rabanei Polin (The Union of Rabbis of Poland) strongly reject the statement of Rabbi Gurary, made in a recent interview, that it is common knowledge that all non-Jews dislike Jews. While some non-Jews do dislike Jews, and some Jews dislike non-Jews, the generalization he makes is plainly false. In Poland we work on fighting prejudices and fostering positive relationships with our countrymen of any religion or ethnicity. We expect Rabbi Gurary to retract his hurtful words.
