We, the The Tertiary Students Union of Trinidad and Tobago - TSUTT, ask that you join with us in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Today, we observe World AIDS Day which is celebrated on the 1st December every year, dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of the HIV infection. There are persons in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean living with the AIDS and the HIV viruses between the ages of 15-25 years; within recent years, this age group has seen a rapid increase of affected persons. In keeping with our vision statement to become ONE VOICE, we reach out and join in the fight against the discrimination towards those living with HIV/AIDS, as we strive to become a unified united student body irrespective of who they are.
