We, the people, enjoy Constitutional rights that other people of this World dont enjoy - mainly the right of free speech.With Obama ceding control over the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) to an unnamed international body should be of great concern to all Americans. In countries like China, N. Korea, and many Middle Eastern countries, the right to say what you want is very strictly regulated...especially when speaking about or against the government of that country. The do not have the right of free speech that we enjoy. This should send shudders down the spines of every person that lives in a country where free speech is allowed. Can anyone imagine what the view of the United States and Barack Obama would be if we werent allow to speak out against his policies or programs? There would be no more Tea Party. The Conservatives would have little or no voice. And the Republican party would almost surely cease to exist. No. The turning over of ICANN to some international body is a BIG mistake.
