We took a day off today and gave the horses a well deserved break. We have camped here in Parker AZ 1/4 mile from the California border. We will cross into CA tomorrow and it seems like it was just yesterday when Crow pawed the Atlantic Ocean but it also seems like a lifetime ago. I have grown and changed so much during the past 6 1/2 months. I found a voice for what I was going through and so many of you out there can relate as well. It has been the honor of my life to do this ride and to do it to find my way home and to ride for you all as well. I find it very fitting that we will cross the California border on the 239th birthday of the United States Marine Corps! I think we may lay down our 20 miles and then get 1 for Chesty! California here I come, tomorrow we ride!
