We wait in line for shoes, but we WILL NOT go vote even when there are no lines. This is THE problem with the Black Community! Until WE change THIS mentality we will CONTINUE to go no where as a people. Michael Jordan has a lot of INFLUENCE which since his sports career is over puts him in my Category #3 of BUSINESS (Category re-cap: #1 Entertainment, #2 Sports, #3 Business, #4 Education, #5 Religion) of influence to change our communities. Imagine if he spoke out about the climate of the country today. Would these individuals NOT purchase his shoes? NO, they would still purchase, but even more importantly they would LISTEN to ANYTHING that he has to say. His INFLUENCE could get every person in these lines not only registered to vote, but to go out and vote.
