We want to believe the Bible says, “Forgiveness is only necessary until the person has hurt you really bad that you become a special case.” And that’s when spiritual warfare comes in and the devil would have us to think, “I’m a special case.” We say, “But you don’t know what I am going through. You just don’t know how I feel. If you had to put up with what I have to put up with, you would throw tantrums and have a sour face all the time too.” That’s what babies do! I don’t have the privilege of staying mad just because someone hurt my feelings. Or telling someone off because I don’t like what they did. Feelings are a Christians number one enemy. Feelings keep you out of the Will of God. And trying to tend to every single feeling makes victory impossible.
