We want to know one of the reasons some breeds are doing better than others ? Here is one of the biggest and why the AQHA is a breed organization that had made changes over the years to make their shows more fair, whereas AHA/USEF has made it harder for people to compete at horse shows, aqha/leveling is the best system I have seen at shows. The AQHA has designed their shows around a horse or individuals skill level NOT wether they work for a farm, sold a horses, earn a living, or any other ASININE ways of stating that someone is an amateur, but really based on the skills of that horse and rider. (I have been stating this for years!) This is a very easily tracked way for a person to enter their shows and move up in classes and divisions based on their success in the show ring and their skills. If AHA or USEF does not see why this is a far better and more FAIR system, than I see QH, Paint and Jumping shows continue to do well while other breeds continue to decline in numbers. gohorseshow/article/Association_News/AQHA/Drastic_Rule_Changes_to_Leveling_Program_for_2014/39007
