We wanted to take this opportunity to address some of the common questions and issues to help customers get their version 8.5 update installed. 1. Many Norton Anti-Virus users are getting a false positive error that the version 8.5 update installer includes a worm or virus. The installer does not include either. It is perfectly safe to run and install. We simply recommend shutting off the anti-virus during the install and then turning it back on. More information can be found here: ow.ly/wQEaf 2. Error 1002 - If you receive this error, a simple reinstall of version 8.5 and reboot of the computer has fixed the issue for some customers. In either case, we want to get this resolved for you. Please contact our technical support team through our online form so we will track and fix the issue ASAP. ow.ly/wQEsb 3. Error 22 - This error indicates the wrong update was downloaded and installed. It is an easy fix, just make sure the correct version update is downloaded (there are 3 editions of the Suite). The easiest way to ensure the correct version is downloaded, is to get the update through the product HELP menu. Just go to Help > Check for Updates.
