We went canoeing, then came back, and lit a fire in the pit. As were sitting there, my husband points to the shallows and says Thats a fish! I climb down the wall, and sure enough, a carp had made his (her?) way next to the shoreline. That carp and I spent a good 15 minutes just staring at each other. He (Im going with he) swam closer and closer, and finally just floated beneath the surface, looking at me. For some reason, this was magical. Yeah, I know, its a carp, but it was still really cool. I am now convinced I am the Carp Whisperer.
