We went for dinner to LA BODEGA (khan market) last Saturday and had a terrible experience. The cocktails and food were extremely disappointing. I had to send back a mojito twice to the bartender and did not have the guts to order some other cocktail. The food was horrible and tasteless. It was not a case of one or two things being bad but each and every dish. The quantity served is very small. The nachos were a joke. After thorough disappointment, i requested this lady who claimed to be the owner to provide me her email id so that i can send her my feedback. But to my astonishment, i was told that she doesnt have an email id. So i decided to let her know there itself that the dining experience was not at all satisfactory and in fact far from it. To which the owner replied that many people in the past have enjoyed dining there. Rather than asking me what went wrong, she stated arrogantly that people like this place and that she never has heard any complaint. Also, she said in her defence that the place is totally filled up thats why there may have been some issues. I am paying for the dinner. Its not charity being provided to me that i should be understanding. By the way, the price charged is proportional to the disappointment that you will have once you visit this place. The prices are through the roof, perhaps the most expensive place in Khan market. However, the dining experience was horrible to the core. The desserts of Big Chill managed to restore the damage done by La Bodega.
