We will be a small part of this event! Please help out a great cause!! Every year, the Northern High School Future Business Leaders of America host a silent auction & dinner to support their community service project. This year, they are working with Melwood for their Community Service Project. Melwood supports over 1,900 people with disabilities in this area by providing them with job training and enrichment activities. Northern FBLA’s biggest event this year to support Melwood is their 11th Annual Silent Auction & Dinner Melwood Matters. All the proceeds will go directly to Melwood. Their auction has raised over $20,000 in the past with usually over 200 awesome auction items/packages. Melwood is truly such a great organization to support. Every individual is so grateful and appreciative. This year the auction is being held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 6 p.m. at Grace Brethren Church in Owings, MD. Tickets are $22, which includes the auction and a chicken, steak, pasta, veggie, and salad dinner catered by Chesapeake Grille, along with dessert.
