We will be holding a culinary workshop to kick off the summer curriculum of food workshops and projects. This first workshop will be next week Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in our kitchen. (20 people max) Workshop Title: Introduction to Native American Cuisine: An overview with tasting/lunch Date: April 30, 2014 Time: 10:00 am through 2:00 pm (arrive early 9:30am) Location: Sunrise Park Resort Hotel Cost: $65 per person, including lunch Overview: This will be a classroom setting presentation and hands-on workshop -History of Native American Food/Cuisine -Where we are today: Western Apacheria -The Native Food Movement and Dzilgaha -Ingredient & Menu Description, Demonstration and hands-on workshop -Native Foods Lunch: Plant Based Indigenous Foods -Dialog: Q&A Please let me know if you are interested in attending.
