We will miss you dearly Joey.... GLENS FALLS -- Joseph J. Del Signore, 66, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014, at Saratoga Hospital. Born Aug. 9, 1947, in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Ciotti) Del Signore. Joseph graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in 1965. After graduation, he was drafted into the U. S. Army and was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas, for two years. On Oct. 25, 1969, Joseph married Regina Rockwell in St. Mary’s Church in Glens Falls. Joseph was the owner/operator of Del Signore’s Wines and Liquors. The store has been run by his family since 1968. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing his bass guitar and was in a local rock ’n’ roll band, the Marcabes. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Joseph was an avid Yankees fan and especially liked Derek Jeter. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of almost 45 years, Regina Del Signore; two daughters, Leslie Firth and her husband, Patrick, of Cicero, and Carrie Ann Del Signore of South Glens Falls; three grandchildren, Joel, Nolan and Shea Firth; one sister, Ann Marie D’Angelo and her husband, Philip, of Delray Beach, Florida; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
