We wore our YANKEES T-shirts in honor of Lou Gehrig...I educated her on what the disease is and why were doing this, to raise awareness and funds. (There are a lot of negative posts out there about how wasteful when theres a drought happening, or its pointless, mumbo jumbo. Well I could have dumped water on her head just for fun and truly in a pointless fashion. I took this as an opportunity to educate my daughter on this horrible disease and she learned how to continue to be compassionate and plant her seed. I know some people think its unethical because of the stem cell research. I will not get into this topic here but people, this is all about awareness and thats a good thing, look at their web site and see the money being raised, if our $20 bucks helps one person feel a little comfort in their last days, then its well worth a bucket of water, Ill take shorter showers for a month to save on this bucket) This video is about ALS #icebucketchallenge #strikeoutal
