We would like send out a sincere thank you to all of the units that made the trip to Colonial Beach last night to join us in celebrating our annual Potomac River Festival Fire/Rescue Parade. Several of the companies that usually attend this event could not make it this year as they were committed to honoring the funeral service for former Stafford County Fire Chief and Naval District of Washington Fire Department Battalion Chief, John (Johnny Mac) McDonald. We offer our deepest sympathies to his family, friends and fire brothers & sisters.
