We would like to remind parents and caregivers about CHADIS (Child Health and Development Interactive System), the system we use at Washingtonville Pediatrics. Here are just a few of the many benefits of CHADIS: - by completing pre-selected questionnaires online prior to a visit, less time is required in the office - the information is quickly and completely accessible to our doctors as soon as it is entered into the system - it allows for earlier and more accurate diagnoses - since the input is scientifically measured by the system, CHADIS allows our doctors to more easily identify developmental or behavioral problems and vision/hearing difficulties. CHADIS is a secure, encrypted site. It is 100% HIPAA compliant and the information shared through CHADIS is accessible only by the physicians and nurses and medical staff who take care of our patients. We remind parents/caregivers and patients (when appropriate) to complete CHADIS before every well-visit, and we may ask that you complete additional questionnaires at other problem-visits. We recommend filling out the standard checklist upon registration, and completing the Pediatric Symptoms questionnaire and the Ages and Stages questionnaire right before your visit.
