Weakness. It is something we endeavor to avoid. We run from it; and do all that we can to ensure it doesnt find an opening in our lives. Yet; the apostle Paul embraced it! He discovered that for him; it was the key to experiencing Gods presence and power resting upon His life. So, just how much do we really desire Gods power? Are we willing to pay the price? After praying three times for deliverance from the weakness that was afflicting him, the Lord answered Paul with these words: But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me (2 Cor. 12:9). God’s answer changed Paul’s perspective when it came to weaknesses and trials. God’s ways are not our ways. We want God’s power; but too often on our terms. If we are really serious about being filled with His power and making a difference for the kingdom, don’t be so quick to squirm out of challenging and difficult situations. You may discover they are the key for unleashing a fresh power and anointing in your life! Selah.--pd
