Associated cloud and rain are expected to affect the group from Sunday. Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group: Fine apart from brief showers over the interior and the eastern parts of the larger islands. Moderate southeast winds, fresh at times. Moderate to rough seas. Outlook for SUNDAY : Rain and thunderstorms developing over most places. For Navua / Suva / Nausori : Cloudy periods with brief showers. Outlook for SUNDAY : Rain and thunderstorms developing. For Nadi / Lautoka / Ba : Fine. Outlook for SUNDAY : Rain and thunderstorms developing. For Labasa : Fine. Outlook for SUNDAY : Rain and thunderstorms developing. For Savusavu : Cloudy periods with brief showers. Outlook for SUNDAY : Rain and thunderstorms developing. For Rotuma : A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR ROTUMA WATERS. Situation: A trough of low pressure to the north of Rotuma is expected to intensify and drift southwards. Associated cloud and showers are expected to affect Rotuma till Sunday. Over Waters: Easterly winds 20 to 25 knots. Rough seas. Over Land: Moderate to fresh easterly winds.
