Weather Forecast for Kent - FRIDAY 26th September ’14. Even though pressure continue to stick close by, a weak weather front will be straddling over us with cloud being trapped under an inversion layer of warm air aloft. Like a fart being trapped under a duvet. TODAY . . . It will be quite cloudy for the rest of the morning but hopefully bright spells may try and develop as we wear into the afternoon. Since it’ll be staying dry all day anyway, it will be okay to leave the line washing out even though winds are only going to be a light westerly breeze. Temperatures still above average at 19 C to 20 C (66 F to 68 F). Yet another quiet and comfortable day for September, turning out to be a kind start to autumn. TONIGHT . . . Rather cloudy with a few clear breaks here and there but staying dry. There is a risk of localised mist and fog patches reforming in the usual prone low lying areas as our winds falls calm. A fairly mild night with temperatures ranging from 11 C (52 F) in the mist to 17 C (63 F) around the coast. WEEKEND . . . Quiet and settled, although there is likely to be a fair of cloud about but it will stay dry and be on the warm side anyway. NEXT WEEK . . . Little change expected as high pressure stick close by.
