Weather Forecast for Puget Sound, Washington USA 1/20/2014 at 9:55 PM PST TONIGHT: Fog and low clouds will increase overnight. Areas mainly south of Olympia could see freezing fog in spots. Lows on Tuesday morning will be in the 30s, with a few locations south of Olympia dropping below freezing. TOMORROW: Puget Sound Forecast: Morning fog, then mostly cloudy. A few sunbreaks or areas of clearing possible. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s. The wind will be southerly at 3 to 8 mph. Coast Forecast: Morning low clouds and fog, then becoming partly sunny. Increasing high clouds later in the afternooon. Highs in the mid 40s to lower 50s. Wind becoming southerly at 5 to 10 mph. Mountain Forecast: Areas of morning fog, then partly to mostly sunny. Pass highs will be 36 to 41. The wind in the passes will be easterly at 5 to 15 mph. The freezing level will start out near 9,500 feet, but drop to near 6,000 feet by Tuesday night. Eastern Washington Forecast: Partly to mostly cloudy with patchy fog and freezing fog. Some clearing at higher elevations. Highs will be in the 30s. WEATHER OUTLOOK/LONG RANGE TREND: A ridge of high pressure will drift a little east in the next 24 hours allowing a weakening front to push into the coast Tuesday night. That front may produce a few light showers, especially along the coast. As it moves inland Wednesday morning, it will continue to weaken but may produce some light rain over the interior. By Wednesday afternoon the ridge will begin to rebuild along the coast putting us back into the pattern of morning low clouds and fog with occasional afternoon clearing for the interior. It will continue to be mild and sunny in the mountains. Highs this week will be in the 40s with morning lows dropping into the 30s Computer models continue to indicate our next chance of any significant precipitation may be next Monday. Since our weather pattern will not be changing much this week, the Air Stagnation Advisory for the Puget Sound area is in effect until Friday. You Have a Great Day!!! GO SEAHAWKS!!! Jonathan Barker
