Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles Issued: 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 A ridge of high pressure is expected to result in a gradual reduction in moisture levels across the island during today into tonight before the approach of a tropical wave by tomorrow into Friday. An increase in cloudiness with a few brief localized showers is possible mainly during the afternoon. Slight to moderate sea conditions are expected during the next 48 hours with swells peaking near 5.0 feet. The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on category one Hurricane Humberto located in the Eastern Tropical Atlantic and on tropical storm Gabrielle located near Bermuda.
