Wednesday - DAY FIVE: VBS continues to go well at both churches - the students are really doing a great job at their various roles, and even helping out spontaneously as other various needs arise. After VBS this afternoon, we all met in a neighborhood near the Stockton church and went door-to-door distributing Christian literature for Pastor Garcines. Despite the 95+ degree heat, we were able to quickly give out well over 200, as we split up into a dozen pairs - many hands make light work! We joined the Filipino church in Elk Grove this evening for their Prayer Service and enjoyed hearing a message from Pastor Garcines on remaining disciplined, strong & rooted in our faith!
