Wednesday 29th October ... 8 Oclock in the Morning Zambian time, I was about to attend my first lecture of the day,I prepared myself,had my breakfast(the monk style way) and was about to hit the day running,but before my day would finally start, I received a very shocking Email from one of my good friends,comrade Chanda,it read and I quote The Republican President,Comrade His Excellence The President Of The Sovereign Republic Of Zambia Mr. Michael Mubanga Charles Mulenga Chilufya Sata has passed away! End of quotation. Shocking it was,something inside of me spoke to me quietly saying Keep Calm,this may be some news from these foreign media houses,who have killed him before his death I was convinced because for sure Cable Network News(CNN) and the British Broadcasting Corporation(BBC) had killed him before,little did my know only The Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation(ZNBC) knew there gallant son well. 30 Minutes past 8 in the Morning still,I heard loud noises coming in from my balcony,yes it was the #UnzaMonks crying for there fallen hero,this was after ZNBC had now finally confirmed that His Excellence had left us. Tata Bashi Chilufya,the greatest opposition leader Zambia as ever had subsequently ascending to the highest job position in the land #PresidentOfNation. Gone too soon shi Mulenga,when Zambia is still young at 50. I will miss your jokes and smile. We have lost a man who devoted his life to developing his country. Till we meet again. #WeziDonGondwe.
