Wednesday, August 21, 2013 Well, this has been an interesting day. Here’s a brief update. I had a general medical checkup this morning with my truth-teller (Primary Care Doc.) Way back in March when He discovered my cancer and knew it was incurable, he promised to be my advocate in the healthcare system and to be one that I could depend on to tell me the truth as treatments were proposed. It has been his working together with my Oncologist that has kept my recovery a step ahead of any metastasis. When the cancer spread to the brain, they were there to catch it early and take it out via radiation. Today, my condition was described as excellent. Of course, we all know that Cancer is very sneaky and can suddenly flare up and take you in a few days time, but for now (even though I have Cancer of the bone, Lung and various other organs) I am in excellent health and no immediate trauma appears likely. So, church family, thank you. God is apparently still able to use me as His Ambassador to this world and I know that most of you have been praying for that outcome. God has not changed His mind, I will still go home on His time-table but I know He is pleased to answer your prayers in this way. And I am pleased to be the beneficiary of your tremendous prayer support. I will be happy to keep you informed as my health progresses, but for now please join me in loud and joyful praise of God for his wisdom and care. And pray that I will honor him with this extra time, which He appears to be granting me. Love you all in Christ, Don Baugher
