Wednesday, October 23, 1946 A lovely day. Heavy fogg[sp] in morning. I went with Bessy to Benton huntingin A.M. Called at J. B. Friel Co on way home also saw Brown of the Eagle Ins. Co. - Daily entry from a year-long personal diary left behind by the previous owner of our house, Mr. Albert Vanadestine, Waterville, Maine for Wednesday, October 23, 1946. Monday, October 23, 1950 Cloudy and cold. Snowed a little, (or sleet) in A.M I finished putting on outside windows and the glass in porch door. All on now but window over the sink. I took up 7 cabbage and put on porch. Cleaned them up. Cold clammy all day. In P.M. I went to mill office about my ins. Took papers to Thayer Hospital. Called at Dr. Hills office and told nurse to have Dr. check those papers [.] Snowing in late P.M. and evening. I took Lena and Ruth to Mrs. Claproods in evening took Mrs[.] Judkins, and Mrs[.] Moxie and Mrs[.] Wilson home. - Daily entry from a year-long personal diary left behind by the previous owner of our house, Mr. Albert Vanadestine, Waterville, Maine for Monday, October 23, 1950. © Exoptica / Exoptica Medea Publishing
