Wednesday, September 25, 2013 Congratulations to the jr. boys cross country team for winning the Harding Invitational yesterday. McKree Martin led the wolves with a 3rd place finish to defeat 12 other teams. There were 151 runners. Cody Weldon finished 7th, William Brister was 8th, Abraham Lierra got 10th, & Ramone Morales got 24th for the Wolves. The Lady Wolves finished 3rd out of 9 teams. Jenny Kirschman led the Lady Wolves by finishing 3rd out of 116 runners, Madison Shinn finished 17th, Katelyn Studdard got 22nd, Amanda Ferrell was 36th, and Brittany Krug got 45th. Cool Crafts @ Your Library will be TOMORROW during both lunches. We will be altering shirts ... all supplies will be provided EXCEPT the shirt ... just bring one from home that can be cut or bleached ... See you there. Brown Bag Book Club will have its first meeting on Friday, October 4th during both lunches. We will be signing up to read the book Wonder. Please make sure you get your book club pass before lunch on that Friday. Picture Retakes for Jr. High students that missed having their picture made in August, will be October 9th. FBLA members will meet Friday morning before school to elect officers and discuss the Fall Conference trip which will be next week. All members need to attend. You may still sign up for officer with Mrs. Woodyard or Mrs. Welch until Wednesday afternoon. Ninth grade Talent Search participants will meet TODAY during second lunch in room 195 There will be no math tutoring after school today. Parent/Teacher Conferences Thursday from 3:30-6:30. Vision and hearing screening for 8th grade students will be October the 8th. Please bring wear/bring your glasses. Students: we are extending the $25.00 yearbook price until October 28th. This is a great price for an ALL COLOR YEARBOOK. If you wait until after October 30th to purchase your ALL COLOR YEARBOOK they will cost 30.00. GT meeting in the science lab during lunch TOMORROW. If you were in ACE/GT in the past, you are still in it. Students requesting a Driver’s Letter must follow the following procedure: Come into to office and pick up form and fill out. Turn form into office Monday-Wednesday of the week you would like the letter Forms will be processed and returned to you on Friday. These are only done once a week. Do not ask for yours to be done earlier. EVERYONE wants their letter right now! You will be given the paperwork that you need to take to the Arkansas State Police. Your paperwork will be good for 30 days after you receive it. If it expires, you will have to resubmit your request again.
