Wednesday night MPD assisted multiple local and federal agencies on the east side of Manchester. At 173 Belmont St (Corner of Silver) a search warrant was executed, several items were removed from the property in boxes, the scene was also being photographed inside the house. As of 11:15 it appeared the law enforcement personnel were wrapping up at the scene and moving to Dix St. At 828 Dix St SWAT swarmed the building, pulling people out from the first floor which were not involved, and then securing the second floor and sweeping it for people. I was told by a knowledgable source that the apartment building would be secured and a warrant was being applied for. A woman who had been on the first floor was brought to a waiting ambulance on scene and appeared to be receiving O2. Several neighbors looked on as SWAT was on scene with the armored Bearcat, and multiple vehicles. A K9 Swat officer blocked the intersections at the end of Dix St. As of 11:30 PM only marked MPD units were on scene securing the apartment. There are NO press releases or additional information available. Generally when multiple agencies are involved it takes quite some time to get official releases. Also for those who follow this page many time there will be a delay in posting specific information to protect officers on scene, and the investigations. Safety first. Thanks Jeff for the info!
