Week 5 NFL Picks: Last week I went 7-6. Green Bay over - TopicsExpress

Week 5 NFL Picks: Last week I went 7-6. Green Bay over Minnesota-Both of these teams looked good and this should be one of the week’s best games. Teddy Bridgewater looked very good in his debut for the Vikings, but Aaron Rodgers and the Packers playing at home may be too much for Minnesota. Chicago over Carolina-The Bears and the Panthers caught losses last week and neither looked like a team that could win a division. I’m going with the Bears to redeem themselves this week against the Panthers. Cleveland over Tennessee-I am always scared to pick the Browns to win, but I am going with them this week against the Titans. Philadelphia over St. Louis-I do not see the Ram’s having much of a chance against the Eagles at home. Do not be surprise if Philly score at least 40 against the Rams this week. New York Giants over Atlanta-Every time I pick the Falcons they disappoint me and I am not falling for it this week. The Giants looked too good last week to not pick them. I’m rolling with Eli Manning and Big Blue with this pick. New Orleans over Tampa Bay-The Saints have been playing like the Aints so far this season. Playing at home may help them get a win against a team that has been playing about as bad as them. Dallas over Houston-The battle for bragging rights in the state of Texas should be a good game. The Cowboys offensive line is looking very good and the running game has been dominating. The Cowboys in a big win here and there will be no talk this week about them having a weak defense. Detroit over Buffalo-I guess the Bill’s can only not be who they are for so long, because they are looking like the Bill’s of the past few years. Detroit should get the win at home this week. Indianapolis over Baltimore-This is the toughest pick for me this week and as much as the Raven fans want to stump on the Colts for moving the team out of the city one cold and late night, I am picking the Colts to get the win here, especially if they can keep the turnovers down. Pittsburgh over Jacksonville-The Steelers get the pick here mainly because I can’t see the Jags beating anyone this year. The Steelers needs this game and hopefully they will leave Jacksonville with a win. Denver over Arizona-A strong offense against a strong defense should make this game very interesting. Some injuries in the secondary may hinder the Cardinals changes against the passing attack of Peyton Manning and the Broncos. San Francisco over Kansas City-The 49’ers struggled at times against the Eagles, but they were able to eventually get the win. I am going with them again this week at home even though the Chiefs destroyed the Patriots on Monday. San Diego over New York Jets-The Jets inconsistency and a lack of playmakers is killing this team. I am going with the Chargers in this game. New England over Cincinnati-I think the Bengals will catch their first lost this week. The Patriots after getting a serious beat down from Kansas City should come back strong this week with a big win at home. Seattle over Washington-This game has the potential to get really ugly for the Redskins. I have the Seahawks in a blowout. Bye: Oakland and Miami
