Week 8 Tengu (6-2) beat Sportmans (5-4) 7-2 backed by a complete game 2 hitter by Carl Conway. Conway allowed only one earned run and had # strike outs. Beau Milner had a triple and home run at the plate for Tengu. Eric Lukkari pitched for Sportmans and held them in check for the first 4 innings of play before Tengu make their come back. Tommy Berridge had a hit for Sportmans. Diablos 8 Law Dogs 2 Matt Levy 4IP and Kevin Watson 3 IP were dominant Sunday as they pitched a combined one hitter for the Diablos (6-2). Charlie Hernandez pitched for the Law Dogs (3-4) and Collin Seay had the Law Dogs lone hit which drove in two runs. RedSox 17 Law Dogs 11 Trevor Beck pitched 5 innings and struck out 7 Law Dog batters for the Red Sox (3-5) in their victory over the Law Dogs (3-4). Rob Wright went 2 for 2 at the plate with a double and three runs scored. Jimmy Stalnaker hit a double and drove in two runs for the Law Dogs. Sportmans 17 Rt 66 Mini Mar 6 Team Cody picked up Rt 66 Mini Mart as a sponsor and will be now knows as Rt 66 Mini Mart. Sportmans defeated Rt 66 Mini Mart 17-6 behind a 6 RBI day from Eric Lukkari to get a game above .500 at 5 wins and 4 losses. Tommy Berridge also had 5 hits for Sportmans in the winning effort. Rt 66 Mini Mart dropped to 0-6 with the loss.
