Week in summary; Mon - Treaty claim hearings as part of the Maori Affairs Select Committee in Rotorua & Tokoroa; Tue - Pre EPA Board of Inquiry meeting called by HBRC with NKII & Hapu on Ruataniwha dam submissions, EIT Marae Napier; Wed - Treaty claims hearings as part of the Maori Affairs Select Committee cont in Napier then back to Parliament for house duty 7.30-10pm; Thur - Procedures, Ngati Porou weekly radio interview with Ken Eruera, Local Govt & Environment Select Committee (subbing for Phil Twyford), House, staff teleconference, house rises 6pm. Off to listen to an amazingly talented friend of Kiritapus - Te Kahureremoa sing - WHOA! This lady all the way from Omahu is solid. Keep an eye out for her folks; Fri - return back to HB, disappointed much the lawns havent mowed themselves! Ngati Kahungunu Sports Awards in Hastings - a superb evening; Sat - Annual Cancer Appeal Rally, Whakatu followed by Sons 1st VX rugby dinner, Havelock North; Sun - Pandora pond, Napier - swam 2x laps of the pond & biked up Poraiti hill. 7 weeks till IronMaori - can it be done? Pick up KT from airport. Breky at Farmers market Hastings obligatory spelt stick, Hohepa tasty cheese & Bay Espresso long black (yum). Home in time to put on a mean as BBQ for the fams.
