Week long summer camp for KU, CUK Srinagar: Vice chancellor Central University Kashmir (CUK) Prof Abdul Wahid Qureshi on Thursday flagged off a week long summar camp to Bangus valley north Kashmir from Kashmir University (KU) campus. Around 50 students from KU and CUK are participating are in the weeklong camp. The camp is organised by Business School Kashmir University, in collaboration with Central University of Kashmir and Directorate of Tourism Kashmir. Registrar Kashmir University Prof Zafar Ahmad Reshi, Registrar Central University Kashmir, Prof Mohammad Afzal Zargar, Head Business School Kashmir University Prof S Mufeed Ahmad were present besides other dignitaries. Talking about the importance of the summer camps in the life of students Prof S Mufeed Head business school KU and one of the organizers said that these activities are an important ingredient of curriculum and they inculcate qualities of leadership , tolerance and sacrifice among the students which is the need of the hour. Giving details of the programme Prof Mufeed said that on the first day the students departed for Lolab will have day sightseeing of, Kalaroose and Lolab and today the participants will leave for Chandigam, morning departure for Drungyari and local sightseeing and late afternoon departure for Nowgam. On the third day students will leave actual base camp of Bungus valley for trekking. Prof Mufeed thanked the authorities for their assistance and cooperation in making the event possible.
