Weekend Roundup U7’s opened the weekends fixtures with 3 goals against Atherstone Rangers. Ellis Barnes with 2 goals, and Ben Hidderley with the other goal. Reace Stocks was man of the match for some great defending in the game. Some super football from the U7’s at times ended the season on a real high, also well done to Harry and Finlay. Our U8’s were also playing Atherstone Rangers too this week and two goals from Daniel Rachel ensured they too ended their league season on a real high, great first season boys and a Cup Final still to look forward too. Our Saturday U9 Dynamo’s took on Gillway Bullets and scored 7. A hat trick from Doyle Finney, who also claimed two own goals as well, a strike from Ben Mann and a goal from a corner from Luke Mellor. Liam Bryan was man of the match though for yet another assured defensive display in what has been a super season for Liam. U11 Dynamo’s travelled to Sutton Coldfield Town and played out a 4-3 win. A first half display as good as any, but perhaps the lads ran out of steam in the second half. Goals from Jack Simmonds, George Pointon and Flynn Hodgkins (2). No game for the U7, U9 or U11 Jets this week, or our U10’s. The race is well and truly on for the clubs golden boot with some fantastic goal scoring this year will it be Ellis or will it be George. Don’t forget to invite your friends as well to club training on Tuesday, our teams are now looking for new players for next season.
