Weekly Challenge #208 Break it Down – For many people the idea of making big change is daunting, so you might find it helpful to simply break it down into manageable chunks to help get started. For example, you might want to start an exercise routine, but the idea of committing to regular workouts for the foreseeable future can seem overwhelming – that’s when avoidance and procrastination kick in. Perhaps it’s easier to commit to buying healthy food on this grocery trip; maybe just workout a certain number of times this week – then see where it goes from there. Challenge yourself to get going on your goals (whatever they may be) by breaking it down this week. & 3 Minute Workout – This simple morning workout covers a lot of ground! You will get your heart rate up, work your upper and lower body, and get your core working too. Start with 20 seconds of climbers – from push up position, alternate jogging your knees up toward your chest (like a sprinter at the starting blocks). Follow up with 20 seconds of push-ups - Just crush it out. Finish with 20 seconds of alternating high-knee touches while jogging on the spot. Give yourself 10 seconds to catch your breath and repeat two more times. Challenge yourself to do this every morning this week!
