Whats happening in the Diocese MISSION POSSIBLE “It’s About the World” Challenge How are you and your church responding to Jesus’ call to the world? We are challenging individual Anglicans and congregations to consider our Christian mission to the greater community. We know the radical call of discipleship is not to minister to our own church, but instead, “It’s About the World.” In what ways are you turning outward and pursuing that mission? No act is too small or too simple. We are looking for your ‘Rejoice’ stories to share with the wider diocese to encourage and inspire others. E-mail: [email protected] Write: The Diocese of Nova Scotia & Prince Edward Island, c/o Diocesan Innovation Group 1340 Martello Street Halifax, NS B3H 2Z1 nspeidiocese.ca/page/environment.aspx#eco THE GENERATION TO GENERATION FUND - This fund which will enable our diocese to employ a Youth and Family ministries coordinator for two years, is off to a great start! To date, we have received $37,000 of the annual $60,000 required. How can you help? To ensure skills and resources are provided to parish leaders, focused on youth and families, consider making a tax deductible donation in the special envelopes provided. See the poster or Diocesan website for details. Together, we can continue share our faith, from Generation to Generation!
