Weight Loss Tip: Drink 2 cups of water about 15-20 minutes before every meal or snack. Our bodies are 60% water, so we need plenty of it to keep our bodies running properly! A University of Utah research study demonstrated that even mild dehydration can cause your metabolism to lower by 4% - most of us dont even realize we are thirsty at the mild dehydration level! I dont know about you...but Im all for doing ANYTHING that helps increase my metabolism (and icy water increases our fat burning by 30% for an hour or two)! So...go grab yourself a tall glass of ice water and sip the pounds away! :)
