Welcome Parents and Players to the Fall AYSO Season! If you’ve not had the AYSO Experience before, we encourage you to watch this AYSO orientation video. https://youtube/watch?v=jsiXn0DYUh0& For further details on AYSO’s SaveHaven Program, check out aysofamilies.org/safehaven AYSO’s 50 year success is founded on these Six Philosophies and all coaches are required to take the OFFICIAL SafeHaven course at aysotraining.org and all volunteers are subject to background checks as part of our AYSO National program which has over 500,000 players across the USA! JCYSL, AYSO Region 322, has several ways to communicate to keep parents informed: this newsletter, information sent to coaches and team parents, our website jcysl.org and our Facebook page facebook/jcysl (visit and LIKE our page!). Here are some important updates (PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS) including TWO NEW field days: · Field Day is this Saturday, August 23th, 9AM in Morgan’s Grove Park in Shepherdstown. Simply GO TO THE FIELD and see the coordinator onsite or just ask to help. Practices can only begin if we complete and certify the fields for play – and we need your help to collect trash, place/anchor goals, paint lines and more! · As fall games are in Shepherdstown, Charles Town field day will be placing the goals which also will require inspection. Please come this THURSDAY August 21st at 6pm to the Charles Town fields at Jefferson Avenue. · JCYSL Registration jcysl.org/Registration is STILL OPEN (ages 4-18), but has been on a first-come, first-served basis (mail-in only). · Coaches will be meeting Tuesday night and contacting you soon after to advise you of your first meeting and practice time(s). You can also log into eayso.org and look for the link: “Team / Coach information” to contact your coach. If you still do not see any information, we may need a coach and therefore, please email your Age Division Director jcysl.org/regionalcontacts/ to find out how you can help in our all-parent-led organization.
