Welcome back to the start of the Autumn Term. If your child had a school dinner today, they may (or may not) have told you that they had a different meal to the meal options on the menu. Unfortunately, there was a problem with our gas supply this morning and the kitchen staff were unable to use the gas cookers. Therefore, for today, there was a change of menu and all the children had the same meal - cheese or tuna roll, with salad and chips. We have been advised that the problem has now been rectified and therefore normal service should resume tomorrow. Whilst writing, a quick reminder that meals for children in years Reception, Year One and Year Two are now free. For the remainder of the children (in years Three, Four, Five and Six), the cost of a school meal has increased from £2.00 to £2.05. Best wishes School office
