Welcome people to the revised version of the Poll Tax, rest assured it will cost the Conservatives just as much as it did back in the eighties. Time to send this unwholesome, manipulative and devious Government, back to the electoral dustbin, where it so rightfully belongs. But even more disgrace lies with the Liberal Democrats, as to be honest the Conservatives and the right wing are and always have been transparent in their treatment of the poor. Indeed it has always been condemnatory. There is nothing new in this, they have treated the poor and the working poor, the same as they have done from the Middle Ages onwards, there is nothing new in this respect. Therefore it is the Liberal Democrats who should bear much of the brunt of the blame for this malevolence. They are a thoroughly discredited party of liars, cheats and fraudsters. One which has been filled by not only deceit but also complacency. They simply cannot be trusted whatsoever in any aspect of Government! - As Nick Clegg so blatantly proved when he took his stance - (and then changed it once he was in power),- on student tuition fees. Personally though I think that the Conservatives are already on course for political defeat, the loss of jobs has created a vacuum, which has only been filled by low paid, potentially short term work. Those who have recently been made unemployed have been treated worse than dirt. Housing itself has been appallingly mismanaged, whilst the bedroom tax could have only come out of the minds of the demented or deranged. The Conservatives have managed to alienate, not only their own, but a whole section of people from those on middle income down. Indeed, the alienation they have caused, will probably be written into the history books, as they are looking upon the worst ever electoral result they have ever known in their history. - After all, It has been quite clear for a long time that this particular Government has not been looking after the country, only its own. -
