Welcome to DM,Inc Team Challenge Week #2 Prize $1000 to winning team! Excellent participation week #1. We had some late arrivers, but most of you are in. My hope is that early this week the few remaining employees will snap a photo of their weight, text it to me and start doing the simple, yet beneficial assignments. This is the final week for people to jump on board and still have a chance to win the competition. Your team will be traveling on our virtual map from Irongate Machine, Inc. Bellingham, WA. to Mazak Los Angeles Offices Gardena, CA. Each of your teammates must complete the assignment in order to advance! If you join early this week and do the assignments you can catch up to the other teams. Final grace week. Today: Snap a picture of your weight and send it to me via smart phone, not Face Book. ASSIGNMENT Nutrition: Every day this week have a minimum of one serving of RAW VEGGIES. Canned veggies are a joke. Fresh is good, unless they are picked under ripe and hence deficient in nutrients. Frozen is good because they are always picked super ripe and full of nutrients, but 30% of the enzymes are killed in the freezing process, and the rest once they are cooked. Steaming broccoli, green beans, or brussel sprouts is wonderfully healthy, but nothing beats vine ripened RAW VEGGIES. All the minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, and enzymes. Besides easing burden of digesting food. Enzymes are a mighty factor in reducing inflammation. AKA Pain. Chop up cucumber, green onions, or celery and throw it in some tuna or with some chicken. Physical: 3 sets of 10 push-ups. 30 seconds rest between sets. Easy! Make this more about strengthening your core than your pecs. At the bottom of each repetition tighten your abs then push up. Imagine someone is kicking you in the stomach, then push up. This can be performed on the edge of a table or lower object depending on arm strength. Make sure the shoulders are down away from ears and hands are no higher than mid chest. Abs tight, abs tight, abs tight. Sunday night make sure your team texts DONE upon completion of assignment. Check the map on Face book to see what teams have advanced already. -- Bryan Janzen
