Welcome to December. It has sure been a nasty day with cold rain and dropping temperatures. Luckily, the majority of western Kentucky will probably escape any icing to amount to anything. Look for this entire week to be cloudy with rain returning by Wednesday evening and continuing off and on into the weekend. Temperatures will be cooler than originally thought with highs in the mid 40s to lower 50s. There are still indications of a turn to more wintery weather in about two weeks. Yes...there will also be a couple of chances of the S word as we head towards Christmas...but that is a long ways out and nothing is certain. More on that as it gets closer. As for me, I am finally feeling human again and I am hopefully kicking this cold out of my body. Thank you for all the well wishes I received. It meant a lot. A Thought; The next time you feel that you will never get past the things you’re experiencing now...look back on the trials you’ve experienced in the past and think about how far you’ve come since they happened. Trials won’t last forever, and change will always benefit you. Remember that without change, there would be no butterflies. Without change, the dead of winter would never turn into the beauty of spring. Without change, the dark of night would never turn into the triumph of dawn. Believe in the sun when it isn’t shining, believe in love even when you don’t feel it. Believe in The Creator even when Hes silent. Rest well my friends and may you wake with the heart of a warrior to face a new day.
