Welcome to all of our CAREER DAY speakers! Presenters will speak in each class according to subject area, then students will choose from one of four presentations. CHANNING BARKER, Class of 2007. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis her junior year of high school, Channing started a Walk MS team which BK still supports each year. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with degrees in broadcast journalism and political science. She joined KNWA TV as a producer and now is a news reporter for the on-air team. MAYOR DEWEY BARTLETT is a 1965 graduate of Bishop Kelley and received a B.S. in accounting from Regis University and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University. He took the reins of city government during a time of financial crisis resulting from the national recession. He and his administration made tough decisions and the cost reductions began to pay off in fiscal year 2011. His commitment to public safety, economic development and quality of life issues demonstrates his heart and vision for Tulsa: to improve the quality of life for all Tulsans. JASON RANNE, Class of 2000, is Director of Strategic Planning for the Oklahoma City Thunder responsible for transactions, planning, including team payroll, player acquisitions and roster planning. Prior to joining the Thunder Jason spent six years with a sports agency and media company where he represented numerous NBA players as an agent. Jason is a graduate of the University of Arizona where he was a four year member of the basketball team and team captain his senior season. He holds a law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. REID SPEARS, Class of 2007, was Student Council President and a Brother Bernadine Scholar. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Economics and the Program of Liberal Studies. He spent a year at an orphanage in South Africa after graduation, and is now an Investment Analyst at the George Kaiser Family Foundation in Tulsa.
