Welcome to all the new folks. For those who havent seen it, this is the workstation I built for my daily driver. I converted a drafting table. When I sewed commercially,what made the machines comfy to use for 10 hours at a stretch was that you were centered behind the foot. If you look at most cabinets the machine is offset to the left making you reach every time you want to cut thread, reposition fabric etc. It really does make a difference. I added a multi strip to the front and the machine plugs in there. Then you also have outlets for anything else. No more crawling under the cabinet. The table also tilts so instead of craning your neck when working on small projects, just tilt the top and the work comes to you not visa versa.
