Welcome to another wild week at Partisan Exchange! Its been busy as our numbers climb closer to the 4000 member mark. Were still debating about whether to be closed vs open status and we need your input. At times things can get quite heated here. All of us have different ideologies and experiences behind what we believe. Its important to remember that although we are all looking at a screen, we are more than how we choose to label ourselves. Ultimately we are just people--sharing ideas, beliefs, concerns, hopes, and goals--brought together by the common interest to debate. Ive always felt rather proud of the freedom of expression were all given here, in this place. Not every post is what we may want to see or read, but it does give food for thought, debate and discussion. I like to think it can help us grow a bit, and maybe gain a better understanding of each other in this world. Theres been a lot of changes with helpers and admins in the past two months. There will be more in the future. I suppose Im the newest change and I can say being an admin here is one tough job! Always feel free to contact admin with any questions or concerns, and if you need to tag - tagging more than one of us is really helpful as not all of us are online at the same time. This past week has definitely been wild. Heres the list of the wildest: Cindy Odenbach - Removed for spam advertising. (Hornbuckle Doctrine) Spam-bots try to infiltrate the Partisan Exchange to post ads in our group. This puts our members and their digital information in harms way and therefor it violates the Hornbuckle Doctrine. Cindy Odenbach was permanently suspended without warning and no admin court trial. James Troia - Removed for insults. (Rule #2) James Troia was given an official warning from the admins and after a prolific trend of insults, the admins agreed to suspend James Troia from the Partisan Exchange. He may return for a second chance in 4 months. Mario Howell - Removed for threatening another member. (Hornbuckle Doctrine) Threatening our members is in violation of the Hornbuckle Doctrine. Mario Howell was permanently suspended without warning. The nature of his threats did not compel any admin to ask for a admin court trial, nor did Mario seek one. Jasmine Del Torro - Removed for blocking admins. (Golden Rule) She is free to return as soon as she unblocks us. John Schumacher alt of John Schu - Reporting our members to Facebook Inc. (Rule #1) Reporting members because you disagree with them is a form of bullying and is not tolerated in the Partisan Exchange. It is clearly written in our rules as our first rule. John Schus alternate account, John Schumacher, was removed without warning. This suspension is permanent. Eric Varney - Spam advertiser. (Hornbuckle Doctrine) Removed without warning. Suspension is permanent. Thomas Ufert - Spam advertiser. (Hornbuckle Doctrine) Removed without warning. Suspension is permanent. Xinsou Kan - Spam advertiser. (Hornbuckle Doctrine) Removed without warning. Suspension is permanent. Britney Fox-Nodal - Removed for blocking admins. (Golden Rule) She is free to return as soon as she unblocks us. Richard A. Marsh - Removed for insults. (Rule #2) The admins agreed to give Richard A. Marsh an official warning and offered him help, but Richards exhausting run of insults continued. The administrators agreed to suspend Richard A. Marsh for insults. He will have a second chance at returning and following the rules in 4 months. Gouverneur Morris - Removed for insults. (Rule #2) After the admins agreed to give Gouverneur Morris an official warning for insults, Morris continued to insult our members with great frequency. The admins then agreed to suspend Gouverneur Morris for insulting too much. He can return for a second chance in 4 months. Peter Van Horn - Removed for insults. (Rule #2) An official warning was delivered by the admins and after much more bullying of the membership, the admins agreed to suspend Peter for insults. His suspension lasts 4 months. Filip Verschelde - Removed for insults. (Rule #2) An official warning was delivered by the admins and eventually the admins agreed to the need for Filip to be removed for insults. His suspension lasts 4 months. Greg Hand - Removed for insults. (Rule #2) An official warning was delivered by the admins and then after many more insults, the admins agreed to removed Greg Hand for insults. His suspension lasts 4 months. Lillie Simon - Removed for insults. (Rule #2) Lillie was removed for insults after getting a warning and there being no change in behavior, but rather a doubling down on bullying our members. Her suspension lasts 4 months. Tallery Ann Miller - (Hornbuckle Doctrine) instantly removed for violating members privacy (Hornbuckle Doctrine) by posting pictures of members from their profile. Admin trial is pending. John DiRienzo - Removed for insults. (Rule #2) John DiRienzo was given a warning for insults and offered help, but his did not change and the admins agreed to suspend John DiRienzo for insults. His suspension ends in 4 months. Jennifer Leelou Bright - Removed for insults. (Rule #2) Jennefier Leelou Bright was given a warning and then removed for prolific insults. Jennifer Leelou Bright can come back in 4 months when her suspension is over. Aladdin Sane - Removed for blocking an admin. (Golden Rule) Aladdin may return as soon as he unblocks us. The following members were removed for posting comments made here in the Partisan Exchange on an employers page. As clearly written in our rules in the Hornbuckle Doctrine, we will permanently suspend anyone who breaches member privacy or tries to harm our members in real life. No admin has asked that any of these members receive an admin court trial in light of their heinous actions and due to concerns for our own safety. Kris Schick - Hornbuckle Doctrine.
