Welcome to the official Richmond Lakes facebook page! For those of you that have liked the page but havent fished the lakes heres some info for you. The front lake is £12.50 a night and £6.50 a day to fish (night fishing is 4pm - 10am the following day). This particular lake is around 18 acres, with 11 well spaced swims giving each angler plenty of room. Several fish can be taken in a session if you approach it right, there are literally hundreds of Carp, many commons to target and a large majority are over 20lbs with a good head over 25lb. Several 30lb plus fish are also present and approach the 37lb mark. An open water approach fishing to clear areas in the weed will account for numbers of fish. The back lake is £12.50 for 24 hours of £6.50 a day and is around 16 acres and again is home to hundreds of Carp approaching the 30lb mark. This lake is the easier of the 2 and its not uncommon for more than 10 fish to be caught in a session. This tree lined lake, is stunning and a pleasure to fish! We want you to look after the fish in our lakes, therefore we require each angler to have a large well padded unhooking mat. Min 36 inch landing net and a bar-type weigh sling. The above equipment will be disinfected on arrival to the lakes. Have a go, we are sure youll enjoy your time at Richmond and catch some of the stunning fish we are proud to have in the lakes.
