Well. 2 days short of 2 months is not a long career, but my days as a Walmart hardware associate are over. The plan was to earn a little cash to pay for all the projects I want to do, while still having time to do them - so part-time. Their idea of part-time is 33 hrs a week, generally 5 days a week, at this, that, or the other time... truly a bizarre and intrusive schedule. In fact, for many reasons, it may have been the strangest job Ive ever had - and thats saying something. But my arthritis decided it for me; the old shoulders cant take the repetitive motion. Didnt expect it to be my shoulders that complained, but there you go. (Feet were a close second.) In any case, I am once again gainfully retired - and the workbench beckons! Gotta make more sawdust!!! ;-)
