Well 2014 was a fun year. Some highlights of mine were.... Seeing Blair play against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the FA Cup. Travelling round Germany in a van to play shows every night with my best mates Boy Jumps Ship. Getting to see them play Sonisphere Festival and record their first album has been special. Started working for England Athletics to help get more people involved with running in Tyne and Wear. Ive also had the opportunity to learn from some of the best athletics coaches in the country. Learning to swim and taking part in my first Triathlon - I loved it! Starting up The Monthly Mile in January with a small group of amazing volunteers and runners and received a regional award. Weve also been shortlisted for a national award. Building up a strong community of runners with Run Eat Sleep and seeing them achieve some great things has been amazing. I love spending time with this group of people. Going on some fun adventures to the Lakes and the Cheviots with Ozzy dog and friends. I love going over there to do some running and walking. Winning the Trail Outlaws 10k race and being the first South Tyneside finisher in the Great North Run. Finishing 3rd in Redcar Half Marathon after being in 9th position at 11 miles. Visiting Dubai before Travelling round Thailand for 2 weeks. Riding through the mountains of Chiang Mai on a scooter all day and Hiking through the jungle before sleeping in the mountains with the locals were both amazing! Spending Xmas with my brother, mam, dad, and best friends is always an amazing part of the year. Starting to learn the German language. I hope I can keep this going - Im enjoying it a lot. Started going out with my amazing girlfriend and had such a fun year together. Getting to meet so many amazing people and make some great new friends. Its been a blast! Happy New Year everyone!
