Well, I can hardly believe it, but we are less than two months away from our move to Spain! And its actually time to start looking at homes online! Its pretty surreal... So far, I have made a few observations... - People there really like bathrooms. A lot of homes have as many bathrooms as bedrooms. And of course they all have bidets, too. - Tile can be awesome or ghastly. Mostly ghastly, but when its good, its GOOD. - So many amazing outdoor living spaces! So excited about that! - A cute kitchen is really hard to come by. So many of them are just really, really weird. - Lots of built-in armoires/ closets, which is a huge relief after Germany and England. - Most homes for rent are already furnished. This might make things a little tricky. - Floors are all either tile (most common) or marble (usually marble tiles.) - Rent is much lower in general than we have paid here.
