Well, I did hear from Laura, the transplant coordinator at Vandy, yesterday, and there is one more little thing that has to be done before listing! Either no one told me about this, or I just dont remember it from all of the information we received back in March. Either way, they have to send a letter of medical necessity to my insurance company and receive final approval from them before they can list me. They sent the letter on Friday, and should hear something back from them by Monday or Tuesday of next week. According to Laura, once they receive final insurance approval, they will list me for a double lung transplant!! We are not expecting any problem with this, because they have already agreed to transplant, and even written a separate contract with Vandy just for the transplant. This has been a long road so far, and I know that the wait for lungs after being listed will not be any easier for me! I am just really happy and thankful to God that I am about to finally be listed, since that is the first hurdle! Thank you all so much for your prayers, as I am sure they are being heard!! ONWARD AND UPWARD FROM HERE!!! I love you all so much! GOD IS GOOD....ALL THE TIME......ALL THE TIME....GOD IS GOOD!!!
