Well...I find it may be necessary to let everyone know that due to some financial insufficiency, I am having to defer my acceptance into the MFA program at Montclair until next year. Which means that I will be sticking around for a while longer... I put all my efforts into getting into this program and I second guessed my choices multiple times, as well as second guessed myself - constantly wondering if I were doing the right thing. I believe that investigating the human condition through art and sharing it with others is exactly what I am supposed to do in life. I love learning and I love school, but I must agree that somehow this felt rushed and not the moment for me to leave. Instead of beating myself up about things out of my control, I am going to work hard this year at allowing myself more time to create and preparing my mind for the next step of my life. We can prepare for life, but things happen, I feel like I am exactly where I need to be though...and I find that comforting.
